Construct North 2008
The Laugardalur Sports and Exhibition Centre
April 17-20, 2008

The exposition Construct North 2008 (Verk og vit 2008), was held on 17-20 April in the Laugardalur Sports and Exposition Centre in Reykjavík.  Construct North is dedicated to the construction industry, municipal planning and public works; this was the second time the exposition was held. About 100 exhibitors took part in what was the largest event of its type that has ever been held in Iceland.

There was plenty of variety at Construct North 2008, with exhibitors from many sections of the business sector taking part: construction contractors, engineering consultancies, engineering works, equipment rental firms, finance companies, power companies, schools and colleges, consultancies and municipalities.  Also, more overseas parties were represented than took part in the last exposition in 2006.

AP Expositions (AP sýningar) organized Construct North 2008, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, the City of Reykjavík, the Confederation of Icelandic Industries, Landsbankinn and Ístak.
